“We wanted to do a video for this song because it has a really dark vibe to it”, says frontman and producer Kyle Pfeiffer, “…and with us, a dark vibe goes a long way. There’s a personal feel but there’s also the feel of what we represent as a band that craves change. It’s always about being the real deal and putting out music that is real. We have an awesome partnership with a YouTube channel and we’ve gotten millions of streams in the last couple of months. We’re taking this thing up the ladder our way and are always seeking new outlets that lets the music get heard, and that's the most important thing.”

ABOUT BLACKLITE DISTRICT:
Blacklite District follows no rules. With sounds of everything from electronic, EDM and hip hop, to hard rock and alternative, the band truly stands out from the pack of what has becomes today's generic sounding "Active Rock". Formed in 2012 by Kyle Pfeiffer and Roman James, ages 12 and 11 respectively, the band grew organically in their local music scene through the years to come. In 2011, BLD was discovered by Grammy Award-winning producer, Stephen Short (Paul McCartney, Queen), which resulted in a 10 day recording session at the world's largest residential recording studio, Sonic Ranch, just outside of Mexico in Tonillo, TX. The group re-located to Los Angeles and played some of the most famous venues in the world for the remainder of 2011.
In 2013, the group released "With Me Now" as the lead from it's debut album Worldwide Controversy. "With Me Now" immediately went to #1 on SiriusXM channels Octane and Faction, hit the Top 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart (#32), and sold 100,000 copies. BLD went on a very successful US tour with Saving Abel in Jan-Apr 2014, with 26 of those shows SOLD OUT. After a legal battle with their management and record label, Blacklite District went on hiatus in late 2014.
In May 2016, Blacklite District released "We Are The Danger" as the lead single from it's sophomore album To Whom It May Concern, which is set for release in Fall 2016. The music video for "We Are The Danger" premiered on VEVO on April 21, released to iTunes on May 3, and shipped to radio on May 10.
"The Struggle" was released as the lead single from To Whom It May Concern on August 23. The music video was premiered by Revolver Magazine. Two months later, the song broke into the Top 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Indicator chart, and garnered over a million stream across all the major platforms. This marked Blacklite District's highest mainstream charting in the last two years.
To Whom It May Concern was released on October 7, 2016 and landed at #52 on Amazon's Top Electronic Albums chart.
On November 1, Blacklite District dropped a surprise music video for "Broken Souls", and announced the track would be serviced to radio the following week, the day that "The Struggle" was peaking on the US charts.
